Never been so looked at the menu and £65 for roasted duck breast seemed steep. Grouse is never cheap but I had roasted grouse at Bouchon Racine last November for around£48. Great read as always.

That is punchy for sure. The prices are more forgiving at Roe in Canary Wharf but so many places in London just seem out of reach now. Feels like fine dining prices for casual dining experiences.

Thank you. Eating out is a big thing for us and currently in Spain and just spent two days in Sanlucar and ate at Casabigote (great in parts) but equally enjoyed at half the price Dona Calma which was recommended by the lady who did the wine tour in Barbadillo.
