Smashed is a weekly round up of all the restaurant reviews published in the British national press, offering an easily digestible, real-time snapshot of the UK’s vibrant and diverse dining scene. It also offers a unique and humorous take on the art of restaurant criticism too, gently poking fun at those lucky privileged few with expense accounts.

In addition to the review of the restaurant reviews, Smashed publishes many regular special features including chef and restaurateur interviews as well as articles about the UK restaurant scene. The bi-weekly Smashed at the Weekend edition features restaurant reviews and reports from Andy Lynes, food and drink book reviews, recipes from new cookbooks and cocktail recipes from top UK bars and restaurants among other items. Smashed also incorporates Cookbook Review with reviews of the latest cookbook releases and recipes from the books.

Served in generous, piping-hot portions, Smashed cuts through the richness of the critics’ sometimes overblown prose. It’s fun, it’s informative, it melts in the mouth with its unctuous, indulgent, decadent succulence, and even better, some of the content is free to read. What on earth are you waiting for?
